No because LA Galaxy wont do that becasue Everton asked to extend his loan and they said no so why on earth would LA Glaexy sell their star player to chelsea and chelsea wont buy him becuase they have enougth wingers lyk malouda joe cole kalou deco ballack |

First off LA won't sell him to them, second Donovan doesn't perform well in big team....he's doing great at Everton cuz he's under the radar there but remember Bayern. I don't even think they need him it was more about being caught in the moment because Donovan is playing so well! |

Doubt it will tbh , while the price of 10 million seems to be fair , it would probably lead to Joe Cole leaving and with Stoch on loan at Twente having something like 17 goals already this season , i would much rather see him giving a go than to spend 10 million but ASSUMING it's true and it happens , he would be a decent buy , but i wouldn't want us to buy him just to see Cole leave. |

Donovan is probably kicking himself for signing a 4 year extension to his contract. He could have let his contract run out and gone to an EPL team on a free transfer. At least he will get a regular place on the L.A. team, i couldn't see him getting a regular starting spot on the Chelsea team. |

First, Donovan has a contract with the Galaxy. He is MLS's star player and I can't see them letting him go without a big payoff. While I'd love to see him succeed anywhere he goes, I'd love to be able to watch him in the MLS in the summer. There's also the question of how much playing time he'd get in Chelsea. On a team like Everton or LA, he's a starter. On Chelsea he may very well wind up warming the bench give the number of great players they have. If you were one of the best players produced in the US, would you rather warm the bench for a large wad of change, play for a foreign team slightly smaller paycheck or play in your home country and become the face of soccer there. Tough choices, but I have my doubts that Chelsea would be a good place for him. |

There is no way he will go to Chelsea, Everton still want him but LA wont let him go |

Maybe this is a wish for Chelsea.. but it's not going to happen. Donovan has 4 years left on contract in the US and plans to be a regular at Everton in US closed season football. When and If his contract becomes void due to strikes in the US.. WHY WOULD HE WANT TO GO TO CHELSEA?? He knows the Everton way now.. He is one of Us... |
