Question: If i was captain of the soccer team for 2 games is it safe to put it on my resume?

Does the job you are applying for include playing soccer? If not, limit your recreational activities on any resume. Focus on the skills you bring to the job instead. If you are trying to highlight leadership skills then maybe slide it in somewhere, but that aside any resume should be nuts and bolts. Hit them hard and fast with job related experience, skills and accomplishments.

There are all kinds of half truths to lies on peoples resumes, even if the armband was handed for part of 1 game after the captain got subbed off or sent off, it would be okay for you to put it on your resume.
